OKie..
here's a blog about my up and coming lasik.
it's a very spontaneous decision.
it's like.. i've been playing around with this idea several years ago ( due to my uncle intro )
was abit apprehensive about the process and my dearest bitch friend totally freak me out with her misc comments about the surgery.
so yea. i chickened out and din really think about it until now as in the recent months, my colleagues have been talking about it.
namely, chloe..
however, i realised that most of my cute uncle colleagues' wife have also went under the knife..
and all at the same place.. @ orchard paragon..
so with 3 successful cases behind me and the timely promotion of a free (SGD$100) pre lasik check up at the lasik surgery clinic @ orchard.
i just went ahead to go for a check up.. :)
and that's just a check up, trying to see if i'm suitable for it and around how much will it cost..
it's a god send when my unisim suddenly got her appointment cancelled and accompanied me there.
and on the way there, she recalled that one of her friend is working @ that clinic..
hence.. lol it's discounts we are talking about..
it's like due to the staff discount i'm able to get the normal treatment at the premium place.. ^^
and what's with the premium and normal?
simple.
the premium is just those with good track records and those more reputable one do the surgery for you.
the normal one is charging 100 bucks for their check up. whereas for the premium one is charging at 220.
anyway. i went thr all the checks twice.
down @ lvl 13 once ( normal ones) then went up to lvl 17 ( premium ones) to check everything again.
i was told that the doctor wanted to compare the results and make sure that each patient details are correct.
so yea. i'm impressed la, and of cuz at the premium one means more accurate eye equipments.. ( which i use/saw before at ttsh due to my eye problems)
anyway.
i'm doing..
VISX Custom LASIK (IntraLase) $2,688
so due to the connections. i'm getting the normal charges while doing @ the premium place la ( staff benefits )
and on top of that, i still get a 100 off.
but anyway after all the medications and gst i still need to fork out 2830-ish
there's different packages..
and i'm doing the second best one..
( This i got from the normal clinic, the premium rates are those i saw when i'm at the clinic for my checkup)
