my eyes are giving me some problems recently.
being the pussy that i am
i went and set up an appointment with the eye specialist at tan tock seng.

i would say i'm pretty impressed with the waiting time there.
it still took around 2 hours but hey i got a minor surgery in that 2 hour duration plus my eye checkup.

my female doc nearly blinded me in the check up.
she used a very very strong light to shine directly into my eyeball and expects me to look at the light ( something like asking u to look directly at the sun)
i spent quite sometime on that machine as my poor eyes simply refused to go through the ordeal.
i wanted to look at it, to cooperate..but my eye just dun wants to!!
she keep on saying, we are going to shine that light till you managed to look straight in the light
after 5 - 10 mins of the freaking light shine into both of my eyes.
finally the doc is happy and proceded on to using some kinda stick like thing to touch my eyeballs.
sound scary right... but that....i could handle as i'm a contact lens user...

as i sat on the uncomfortable chair to listen to the 'results'
i "discovered" ....
that i'm not suitable to wear contact lens as i have dry eyeballs
that my eye suffered "suffocation" and left permanent marks of "suffocation" on my eyeball
that me wearing contact lens definitely will cause permanent damage my eyes if i insisted
that i have a growth on my eyelid that is caused by "scar", apparently, i have hurt my eyelid and it healed and produce some protective skin over my "scar" which have gotten too big..

and since i'm at the eye specialist, i decided to ask her a nagging problem that i have some time ago..
how come i could see some black spot sometimes, it's like a small black dot that is blocking my vision
and you know what she told me..
" oh... it's perfectly normal... you are AGING.. it's part of the AGING process"
" it's the eye jelly, it aged and deteriorated, that why you see a black spot when u look at things and especially when u are looking at a white wall"
then she asked me what job i have now.
i told her that i'm a helpdesk assst.
she told me to take care of my eye and try not to look at my screens often, need to let my eye rest as my eyes is already feeling the effects of over-exeration and so on..

first she told me that i am old..
then she told me that my job is not helping my eye condition..
then she asked me to sign a form for a minor surgery to remove the growth.
when i asked is if it gonna be painful, she told me " let's just say that no surgery is painless"

................
i stepped out of the room.....blinded, pissed and scared..
i was then told to wait outside the 'surgery room' for the nurse to numb my eyelid..
asked the nurse to numb 2 times as i'm really afraid of the anataticpe that's going to be injected to my eyelids.
i could already imagine how pain it is!!

surgery came and gone.
the pain is really .......
they stick in really deep!

anyway, here's what i look like when i got out.
lucky, by that time, my mum had arrived cuz i could only see one side.
